My results match those done by (Molon?) in the famous AR15.com thread "the trouble with 3-shot groups" ...
20" 1/7 chrome lined NATO chamber govt profile (BCM). It is free floated, using 75gr match.
That would be 1.25"-1.35" ...10 shot groups. That is fired from a bench with a scope. Non floated goes up to 1.75-2" groups.
For those that are brainwashed by internet mythology, that is fantastic accuracy for what is basically a service-grade military style assault rifle. Nearly MOA. Now ...I've shot many 1" and sub MOA 5-shot groups. Is it an MOA or sub-moa rifle/barrel? No way. That's why 10 shots is the ultimate measure, and to fire a few groups. See what it does consistently. That's the best it can do under optimal conditions.
For me, this is phenominal accuracy for a chrome lined autoloader. Assuming I can hold steady enough and compensate for wind/drop, it isn't out of rifle's capability to make a hit (body size target) out to 400m or more. That satisfies and exceeds the rifle's purpose/objective. And does so with handiness and reliability. I'm not a fan of tight chambered match-grade AR's for "defensive" use. I like chrome and a generous chamber. I can't do that with other platforms due to lack of accuracy (AK for example) or without spending outrageous amounts of money (HK). That's the beauty of it.
For varmint hunting or doing shooting sports, then the Krieger is the way to go. Yes, you do get what you pay for. That barrel absolutely performs. If you don't drive tacks with it, your ammo sucks or your shooting does.
