I have an hk usp compact two tone. I've always kept it in its original box. Last week i took it out and noticed to small scratches. their not deep, at first it just looked like it was just two hairs on it. but their scratches. Is their a product i can buy for that, or can someone recomend a good company that will take them out. It was my first gun so i'll like to keep it perfect.

Keeping a stainless gun perfect is going to be an excercize in futility.
So you need to lower your sights and learn to live with it.

Polished stainless steel scratches much easier then a blued gun, and every little thing that rubs it will leave tracks behind.

If the slide is highly polished, get a tube of Flitz or Semachrome metal polish and gofer it.

If it is matt or bead blast finished there is not a whole lot you can do without making it look worse.

RC, gave some good advice but on MY carry is stainless and when I get scuffs I use scotchbrite pad (green) and when you go across the chose direction you can see a difference but as long as you go in one direction it will ALL turn out to be the same when your done.

I use mothers stainless steel polish on their micro power ball it doesnt realy remove the scratches but it feels them in so their unnoticable.

Flitz works on shiny and polished stainless. Will clean a revolver to near new condition too, if you stay at it.

polish

I have used an used green scrotbrite pad with mineral oil . A new one was too agressive. you can use on your cast iron skillett for cleaning. Pikal metal polish is great .I have used on folded/forged katana sword. The can is about $30.00 ,but you can do a lot of swords and guns for a can.
