I got to handle a used glock 27 today outfitted with CT Lasergrips. They made the grip feel very wide and rounded. The grip seemed to be as wide as it was tall.
I couldn't reach the trigger without shifting my grip drastically. I went from having the backstrap in the V of my thumb and index finger to resting the backstrap mostly on my thumb.

Are the CT's more comfortable on the larger guns or do you just have to have larger hands to be comfortable?

I like the feel of the LG405's I have on my S&W 640. I like the feel of the glock 19 and 17 frames. Put the two together though and I just don't think it's going to work for me.

The CT laser grip seems just too large for the 26/27 grip. From a pure physics/geometry perspective it shouldn't be much different from the way it works on a 19/23, but in practice, to a human hand...

I would just as soon do without the CT grip on a 26/27 based on feel alone, putting aside the fact that it really takes away from the little guns' primary attribute: Compactness.

I definitely like the CT grip on any of the larger framed Glocks, though. Definitely try to get your hands on a 17/19 sized Glock with the CT grip before you give up on the idea.

And, yes, the LG-405 on a J frame is 'all that and a bag of chips.'

Futuristic

i do like the ct lasergrips but the grip girth on the glocks are just too much as it is already and they don't help it any by addig to it for me. for a glock i would go with either a lasrmax or light laser combo. that is a personal preference of mine for the glock line.
