Stopped by wal mart today and picked up four plastic storage boxes for cleaned brass, 6x6x12 with lids. I filled one with 9mm, one with 380 and one with 223, leavinig one for 45 acp, once I collect some brass from my loaded ammo. I'll put the dirty brass in coffee containers that way I can write the # of times they have been fired on the side. I think I'll pick up some 50 cal ammo cans for the loaded stuff. I like the look of those white boxes from midway.

I've used old coffee cans. Plastic bins from Home depot, plastic paint-mixing tubs, five gallon buckets . . . basically anything that's sturdy that will hold it's shape well for storing quantities of spent brass. I keep primers in my ammo cans.

For loaded ammo I use MTM or MidwayUSA plastic ammo boxes and trays for stuff that'll be stored for a while. For what I know I'll shoot up within a few weeks to months, often it's just a gallon ziplock bag with an index card stuck inside it telling me what it is.
