H'lo, y'all (phony accent)...
I'm thinking of driving from southern Texas to northern Indiana to visit my roots: a distance of 1500 miles. As a Texas CCW permit holder, I can do this legally, comfortably, and without any interruptions via Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kentucky -- all of which have reciprocity agreements with the Lone Star. Indiana has no such pact with Texas, but honors the Texas permit all the same. Texas, however, doesn't recognize the Indiana permit, and requires Hoosiers to get a non-resident license to carry on their visit. In other words, a Hoosier will have a bit more of an inconvenience traveling in the opposite direction.
How far have you carried in the U.S. without hassles or interruptions?
