I think I pretty lucky, I work at a sign shop that's family owned and run. The "Boss" is an old school hunter, his 2 Sons are both very into shotguns/Rifles. Over half the other employees shoot semi-regularly
(But I still shoot the most!)
Just yesteday I brought in my new handgun and tapped the sights during lunch.....
And today one employee is wrapping his shotgun in a snakeskin control tac...:neener:

Well since I work on a military instalation guns are a big no no here, you would think diffrently but oh well. I got turned around at the gate once for having an empty mag in the door cup holder? Why?

Very.

I estimate that about a third of the folks around here are packin'. And we're a medium sized company with 500 employees.

like Eric F said, I'm in the army so I have to go in to a military installation so no guns here at all. besides the ones in the armory

My (moderately large publicly traded) employer is unfriendly in a strange sort of way. I visited one of our "non-public-facing" (as in an unidentified building in an industrial area where actual work gets done) facilities in Kansas the other day and they had huge circle/slashed anti-handgun symbols on all the doors...yet the "company store" (they sell company-branded stuff to employees at cut rates) has a "hunting" section with all sorts of camo-covered outdoorsy items.

On an interesting note I could bring my stuff to the Naval base I worked at before I transfered.........go figure?

Mine is entirely gun friendly. On a scale of 1-10, I'd rate it a 10.

When I work, I'm self-employed.

Totally unfriendly.I work for a city with a 'zero tolerance policy'.1 strike and you are out.
This includes the employee parking lot and a gun locked in your car.
Hopefully that last part will be history very soon.

Zero tolerance under state law. Having a firearm in the building is a crime. Parking lot and grounds are OK as per the state AG's interpretation.

I have my own sign business so it's as gun friendly as could be. Had a customer sneak in while I was doing my first magwell install on my Colt, hehe.

Nice snakeskin there seven, wrapping a shogun can't be an easy job. I guess if you can do that you are good to go at a vehicle.

I don't work at the moment (full time student), but my job last summer was extremely friendly. So much so that my boss insisted that I bring in my recent purchases to show him, gave me extra time off so I could check out the new Bass Proshop (he insisted when he found out I hadn't seen it yet), and wanted me to help him pick out a gun for himself.

In plain speaking, it ain't.

I work night shift in the east side of Cleveland, Oh., and would be fired in an instant if my company knew I carried.

The company is extremely unfriendly, the employees on the other hand are very gun friendly, at least half of us have CWL or shoot routinely and firearms are discussed at least daily.

I guess it depends on your point of view. I work on an Army Post (Federal Installation). If your wearing a Green suit, very gun friendly. :)
Not so much if your a civilian.

Parking lot and grounds are OK as per the state AG's interpretation.

What about per the owner of the parking lot? Hence the pending legislation here in Florida.

The vast majority of employers are anti-gun, such as where I work: you bring a gun to work, you’re fired, CCW or not – including locked in your car/trunk in the parking lot.

Guns are banned where I work. 3000 people in about 75 offices in the U.S. We must annually sign an agreement to abide by the employee manual which states the no gun policy.

My own personal policy is don't ask - don't tell. My life is worth more to me than my job. I can always get another (job).

Pretty good, I work at two different locations for the company, and while at one, I can carry all day long, but at headquarters, not so much. But still, everyone who works there owns at least one gun. So we'll relax and talk about next purchases, next/last range day, etc. Pretty lucky all around.

Very freindly, out of eight employees four CCW permits two open carries. Even those that don't carry I have shot with. I work construction in AZ so I'd say that's average.

My workplace is incredibly gun friendly...(to anyone but the employees) anybody else out there can walk right in with any gun they please and nobody here is gonna be able to do a damned thing about it.

(edit: this is sarcasm, I work in a "gun free zone" :banghead:)
