Sounds like your employer's forgot about the freedom of speech, as
guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. I'm not an attorney (nor do I
play one on TV), but I believe that if you are ever fired for discussing
firearms; you would have some type of legal recourse~! Looks too me
like your boss'es are just plain idiots~! ;) :D

^^^ Which, we've already established, does not apply to private businesses. Just because there is a right to free speech doesn't mean you can say just any old thing on this forum, for example.

I would certainly agree with that. I would like to use a harsher word (and have plenty of them), but ... see above. :D

That is too bad. Even living in California, where at times I am very circumspect about guns and with whom I have conversations about them, I can at least enjoy talking about bang sticks and go shooting with the boss. And he's a naturalized citizen originally from Japan. Shoots his Sig and doesn't care if I bring one or two of my toys to the office, and often as not, will handle one of my 1911s if it isn't something he's shot before. We'll occasionally hit the range afterwork together.

Yeah, about that....

Gentlemen, this one seems to be resolved and we're back to people who can't be troubled to read the whole thread rehashing things long since settled.

Good luck with whatever course of action you choose, BigGuy52.
