Well, remember, Atlantic is a distributor. Most, if not all, of their products are assembled by others. The PSL was Romanian and imported by Tennessee Guns (not assembled by, but imported by). The VZ-58 was one of the D-Tech or some such names. They both handle well and shoot well, though the PSL (FPK according to TG) does not have as good a trigger as my Century. I think that has to do with the placement of the hammer pin. The Century PSL has a pretty decent two-stage whereas the TG has a fairly gritty one stage that is pretty long.
Yet, that has nothing to do with Atlantic and probably nothing to do with TG, merely a single specimen.
In any case, like AIM and others, it is Atlantic's handling of their products that is at play. Everybody can sell a lemon (the FPK above is not a lemon and I am satisfied with it), its how they deal with the lemon that defines them.
