Here are my three. All Bushmaster lowers with the one on the bottom being a DPMS .22LR upper(Best gun money I ever spent).

That's right people what you see here are bone stock, non modified. LOW SPEED HIGH DRAG, basic run of the mill AR15s. A2's to boot! Move along now let the rest of the folks see these rare and endangered creatures.

Next on our tour you will see the illusive and rare unmodified Ruger 10/22.........:D

I' sorry I don't hase picture posting capabilities but, an hour ago I finised my first build an a Stag stripped lower. DPMS LPK, Ace AFX sleleton stock,DPMS A2 carbine upper, functions fine and not a scratch on it. This will keep my Colt H-Bar and my Stag/DPMS varmiter company.....Boy this is FUN.........Essex

I have three, SP1 CAR, Government, and a HBAR all preban. :D

M4gery and an almost complete AR-pistol...

The M4gery is a Bushmaster with ak muzzle brake, A3 carry handle(usually sports the flat-top with red-dot sight though ), A2 stock and 1/9 twist...

The pistol is Rock River lower, Model 1 lower parts kit(came with two magazine releases and no bolt carrier stopper to keep the carrier in the buffer tube when opened up :cuss:! ), and an ace ltd buffer tube with a car buffer/spring and sling mount...I don't know if I want a 7 1/2" or 10 1/4" pistol though, so no upper yet. I like the gun already and only one scratch while assembling it... ;)

PS. Until I get that one piece I can't install the rear take down pin or my pistol buffer and sling swivel...And the front take down pin retaining pin had to be "ground-down" to fit in its detent

I've got a couple, all home built

BasicTwenty.jpg

Basic 20" A2 with a Bushmaster Govt. profile barrel and all the AWB deletions. It's on an Eagle Arms lower with RRA internals and furniture.

LightRifle.jpg

A legacy build with a Colt M16A1 upper with an RRA bolt on a DMPS lower, DPMS parts kit and NOS M16 furniture (old stype with no compartment).

ARFnSAR.jpg

All RRA parts except for the Eagle Arms lower reciever itself. It has an RRA chrome lined barrel turned down to govt. profile under the handguards. Accessorized with a Bushnell Holosight, ARMS #40 BUIS, XS Single Plane rear sight and a Streamlight M3

ebr_midlength-scope.jpg

Basic RRA 16" HBAR, free floated. Eagle Arms lower with RRA parts and a Cavalry Arms C1 stock. The scope's a weaver with an Armalite mount on an ARMS #38 rail/BUIS. This one is a real tack driver.

I'll get in on this one too. I have two ARs. Both are 100% DPMS. The 20" is built by me and a friend. The 16" is a "Tuber" model that's been modified.
Here's the 20" DPMS A2 w/DC Engineering 3-9x42 battle pack optics.Fobus G-27 pistol grip, Specter gear three point sling and A2 stock. Just waiting for my handgaurd to show up so I can mount the light/laser and bi-pod. Also ARMS QD vertical fore grip.

Next is the Tuber. Looks supressed but isn't. All DPMS A3 flat top except the handgaurd which is a FULL X FULL custom made by L&G Weaponry. EOTech 552 rev-f, Specter gear single point sling, ACE boom tube ARFX stock,Fobus G-27 grip.

I dont have pics of mine. Its a Bushmaster lower, 16" pre-ban RRA CAR A3 upper with their tactical handle and 6 postion stock. Assembled 9/17/04...

Here is my contribution to the thread. A boring, hum drum, ban era, plain jane, Bushmaster 20" A2.

sorry i jsut had to say how jealous i am of you guys, thanks for the awesome pics!
i think the one Harry Tuttle (heating repair specialist?) posted is my favorite,
as far as looks.

can you guys tell me is one type "most accurate" or anything about why one might prefer certain set ups?

someday i will get to try the carbine in the local armory <cough>

but it's not easy to pull out sometihng like that around here

Pic of some rifles residing in Ca. to make all the Ca. members jealous.

And a pic showing what the single shot DPMS lower became.

I've just got one now, a plain jane postban A2 Colt, plan on building a midlength carbine when funds permit....

That's more or less the one build I wish I could have completed before the Ca. ban, a legit early SP1 build with as many authentic early A1 (or even original Colt/Armalite AR15) features as possible.

Something to be said for a rifle that weighs in at 5.5-6 pounds.

Only had so many funds available before the ban finally took effect, when Pete Wilson rejected the AW ban it gave me a year to decide what I wanted to buy and I decided on my AR10 rather than a preban which were going for VERY premium prices in 1999 with the Y2K hype and Ca. AWB coinciding.

Ugly, Comfortable Gun

I've got one, have always hated the way they look and loved the way they shoot. Mine's a dead stock (except NM sights) A2.
