Here are the two AR's I built myself. I used the following.

Olympic Arms Uppers and Lowers
RRA NM 2 Stage Triggers
Ace Skeleton Stocks
Hogue Grips
Badger Tactical Latches
Olympic Free Float Tubes
Olympic Ultra Match Broach Cut 1/8 twist 24 inch barrel
Olympic Match Button Rifled 1/9 twist 16 inch barrel
Harris Bipods
Bushnell Elite 3200 Mildot Scopes.

Quintin, nice rifle and setup. Similar to mine, but mine is a bone-stock Armalite M-15NM model. I use it mostly for whupping up on guys with scoped tactical bolt-rifles at my local 300 yard range, and ocassionally impressing the Palma guys at what a Service Rifle can do with a steady hold! :neener: (We meet at CCF&G in Sullivan, NH, Thursday nights at 4:00 pm, all summer long. We use the MR-63 600 reduced to 300 target. Those rings get awfully tight in there. )

So yeah, box-stock Armalite M-15NM with about 2500 or so rounds on the clock, Turner 1907 biothane sling, enough lead to shield an X-ray tech, some yellow paint, black electrical tape and Permatex RTV. Will shoot MOA or better all the way across the course.

Olympic OA93PT Carbine. Removeable stock!

White Oak/RRA A2 Service rifle with Jewell trigger and 1/4 MOA pinned rear sight.

Yep, just one for now though. In the future I will need a few more. :D I'm thinking I want an SP-1 type, an NM one for Highpower, and a 16" carbine of some sort. But for now just one is all I can keep up with.

AR-5.jpg

Rifle is mostly RRA, Bushmaster Barrel, Samson MRFS-R rail, TD VFG, uh, Cav-Arms C1 stock, hogue grip, TA31A ACOG in an ARMS mount with ARMS BUIS.

I consider it pretty much done, short of a flash suppressor, which I'll add when I move out of NY state.

Zak, is that duracoat coyote on that second rifle?

Now for the original purpose of the post, got a new toy today :D

Easy, #2, the 17" lightweight.

It's light, runs smoother than the 16"ers, and loses no accuracy to the JP. Only thing the JP has over it is more mass which can help stabilize the gun.

Only change I'd make is to have a fixed FSB instead of a rail mounted front BUIS.

Mine is a BM Dissipator (only one so far :neener: ) with an RRA 6-pos stock, A3 flattop/carryhandle, Phantom flash hider, home made single to 2-point convertable sling and a Streamlight M3X. Nothing much special.

ME . Just got my upper back from Azex a few weeks ago .
I'm ready for Zombies now .

I wasn't really happy with how this one turned out so I parted it out and started from scratch on another M4gery. It's done but I don't have pics of it.

One lonesone AR here

A plain old Colt AR15A3, as when I first opened the box. No lights, lasers, red, green, or blue dots, no pickletinny rails, add-on foregrips. I did change the pistol grip to the old style, 'cause the finger grooves were uncomfortable. A 4X compact Chinese scope, mounted on the carry handle.

This was a working gun - - Rode in the back of my take-home car in a case with two loaded mags and an extra hundred roundsl. It was highly comforting a few times, but never fired it at anyone. Now it adorns my truck tool box.

Best,
Johnny

I have a Bushy A2 Dissipator with a 6 position RRA stock and an AR-180B. I have a second bushy lower that technically is a firearm, that I need to find an upper for.

Here's my "SPR-ish" rifle...and my latest midlength.
