At least my list is short enough...

.25-06
.44 special
.44 magnum
.444 Marlin

And I'm looking at getting OUT of the .25-06! This will simplify my reloading components list! :)

7.62X39 occasionally for my SKS
7.62X54R for my 5 mosin nagants(2 M-44's, 1 M-38, 2 M-39's)
.30-06 for my M-1 Garand
.303 British for my 2 enfields (#1 MK3* and #4 Mk 1/2)
7.92X57 for my 3 Mausers (German K-98, Yugo Capt. K-98, Yugo M-48)
7.7X58 for my 4 Arisakas (Type 99's)
6.5X52 for my M-38 Carcano

used to load for .308 and 7.5 French till I sold those guns

Let's see: 9mm, 9 x 18mm, .38 and .357Mag, .40 S&W, and .45 acp.

.223, .308 bolt / semi, .30-'06 bolt, .303 Brit, 8mm, 7.62 x 54R, and soon 6.5 x 55 Swede.

I have dies for other calibers, but don't reload them lately. (.380, 7.62 x 39)

I'm also considering .44 Mag / .44 Special. I'd like to get a .44 lever gun with matching revolver whens funds permit.

223
300 savage
308
762x54
303 brit
30-30
35 rem
38/357 mag
44 Mag
445 SuperMag
45 Win Mag
45-70 Govt.

Hope to add very soon...
38-55 Winchester (contender carbine)
405 Winchester (Encore carbine)
32-40 Winchester (14" contender)
357 Herret (14" contender)
458 Win Mag/458 Lott (Encore carbine)

.380, 9mm, .38 Super Comp, .357, .45 ACP, .45 Win Mag
.221 Fireball, .223, .22-250AI, 6mm Rem AI, .30-30, .308, .30-06, .45-70, .50-70, 12 gauge
And I probably forgot at least one.

Wow. I gotta say I'm amazed at how many different calibers so many of you load for. I load for handgun cartridges only because I shoot USPSA. Therefore I load because there's really no other way to have ammo to make major in all my guns (that's as cost effective).\

For me it's a simple list: 9mm, .40 and .45

9mm -Plinking. CC
38spl -Target practice. CC
357mag -Everything's hot. That's why it's called a Magnum. CC.
44mag -Everything's hot. That's why it's called a Magnum.
45acp -Target practice. CC.
30-30 -Well, actually not. But I have the dies and components.
30-06 -To kill things! Worked up hand loads my rifle likes.
30-338 -To kill bigger things! Wild cat worked up hand loads my rifle likes.
I use a Dillon450 for the pistol rounds and an RCBS Rockchucker for the rifle stuff.

Time for an update? Already?

I did a pretty complete list in post #53. Only thing I've added since is .41 Magnum, for my long-sought S&W M58. :D

Best,
Johnny

I am a waterhead...

forgot my newest and current favorite...

7-30 Waters....just got through forming some from 30-30 brass.

Is it any more difficult to do this from .375 winchester brass?

Darrell

22 Hornet - for my neighbor to save him a buck
7.62x39 - hunting ammo only,
7.5 x 54 MAS - plinking ammo for the MAS 49/56
30-30 - for my nephew to save him a buck
300 Savage - plinking ammo
7.62x54R - hunting ammo
7.62x51 - special loads for Spanish mauser for accuracy
30-06 - hunting ammo - great 200 gr elk load.
300 Win Mag - for my another nephew to save him money
8 mm - hunting ammo only
---
38 spl/357mag - plinking ammo
44 mag - plinking ammo

Personally, I load for the 38, .357, .44 Mag, 45 Colt, 223, 243 Win, 308, 30-06, 8mm Mauser, and 45-70. When time allows, I would also like to get dies for the .40 S&W and maybe 9mm.

In the past I have also loaded the .280, .444 Marlin and .35 Whelen Improved. These three are my father’s main hunting cartridges.

If the truth must be told, I enjoy loading cartridges as much as shooting them.

Let's see....
9mm
357SIG
.40 S&W (and 10mm)
.45 ACP
.22 hornet
.223 rem
.357 mag (and .38 spl.)
.41 mag
.44 mag
.45 colt (And a chopped .45 colt, shortened to .45 acp length.)

I count ten.
(Oh, and wax bullets, if they count, only in .45 colt, and .38 spl./.357 mag.)
So, maybe 14, if you use you imagination, so I voted 10-20.

Currently I load for:

Pistol:
9x18 Makarov
9x19 Luger
.38 Special
.38 S&W
7.62x38R Nagant

Rifle:
.303 British
.308
7.5x55 Swiss
.30 MI Carbine
8x57js Mauser
7.62x54R Russian
30-06

Soon to be loading for:

Pistol:
.45 ACP
.357 Magnum

Shotgun:
12 Gauge

Maybe it's time for a new hobby, nah.... :)

vonF - dont forget the 657 in your quest. as fine and accurate a revolver as i have ever used. i would love a 57, but they are tough to come by, in great condition that is. read that as "like new". perhaps i expect too much.
