How many of us are buying guns with no ammo available?

Sigh. I picked up a rifle in 6.5 Creedmor. I have no ammo for it...

Fortunately, I have metric butt-tons of .223/5.56 or 9mm to trade for some when the weather improves a bit and I'm ready to go out and sight this critter in.

Being relatively new to guns, I was a little naive to the ammo shortage and bought a .45 colt revolver in mid December. Finally found some ammo for it which arrived last week, but have yet to take it to the range.

I need to find .30 Carbine for an M1 Carbine I bought

Affording it may prove to be more difficult than finding it.
Still quite a bit of the Korean surplus available at thirty some plus cents more per rnd than it was going for back in August.

I bought a Colt 6920 M4orgery in 5.56mm. No 5.56 available.

Because I'd already bought all of it. :neener:

Years ago I saw the writing on the wall and stocked up on .223 brass, projectiles, primers and powder.
I have some 5.56 brass that I didn't cut down for 300 BO if you are interested. Just cover shipping.
You could always swap out the upper for a 223 Wylde and reliably shoot either or.
Not to launch a huge discussion but the 5.56 chamber will shoot .223 easily but not the absolute best, and don't even bother to shoot 5.56 in a .223 chamber, too risky with over pressure issues.
BTW, I have an original Colt A1 from 1970's vintage with the triangle front guard. Looks kind of "out of place" in today's environment.
