Should be just one serial number but some firearms also have build numbers.
My CZ 75 Compact 9mm has one serial number but it is on the frame, barrel and slide.

Mine is numbered on barrel, slide, and receiver. All the same, of course. That is what is meant by "all matching serial numbers" on period guns like Lugers.
