I just finished loading 44 Magnum brass. I had boxes which were reloaded 19 times.
I no longer keep track of the number of times I reload 9mm, 38 Special, 45 ACP, and one bag of 44 Special. I could no longer see a purpose.
Some of my nickel plated 38 Specials have been sized so many times they are down to the brass.
Rifle ammunition, that is different, but I took one set of 308's in a M1a 22 reloads. I fired lubricated cases and never had a case head separation. Had neck cracks and body splits due to brass flaws.
I think 10 times in a rifle is probably a conservative and safe limit.
Pistol, load it till the mouth cracks or the body splits.
