Wondering how much people have to pay per hour for indoor Pistol range time.

The nice ranges around here charge $20.00, Unlimited time though. (billssgs.com) Minnesota, especially the twin cities area has very few ranges.

Did not vote.

I do not do public ranges .
I only do private ranges.

I also only shoot with certain folks, and this includes hunting.

Being blunt, this started back when The Great Equipment was just getting started. I burned my sanctioned card and went rogue.
I walked off from certain types of firearm owners, and I will continue to deny I know anything about guns, shooting, hunting, and related activities as I choose to not be around certain firearm owners and attitudes.

50.00 bucks a year, 1 buck every time you go targets included.
indoor to 50' outdoor to 75' handguns, 22 rifle, bp handguns outside, and shotguns (no clay games)

The local indoor range (Baron's Den) costs $75 per year (or $100 for a couple's membership) plus $10 per session with their "frequent shooter's card".

What that works out to hourly depends upon how long your sessions are; the range sets no limit except their business hours.

I'm in the New Orleans area - all are within 1 hr drive

Bayou Dragon
50yd indoor rifle, pistol or shotgun (even have a paintball field)
I've shot .30-06, .308 there. I see cases from 7mm, 300's, 12 gauge slugs
Rapid fire if you want.
$10 as member and $20 non-member. 8 hours if you want.
If I remember lifetime membership was $150 and yearly $60 or $75.
W-F noon til 8
S-S 8-5
The kind of place where strangers invite you to shoot their guns.
Tonight I shot a .22 mag derringer and a 5.7 x 28
They shot our .45s & a .22 Beretta Neos. Guy is now buying a Neos.

$6.00 & you need a fishing or hunting license as it is on a State WMA.
Outdoors, Really Nice Place. Volunteers run it. Seriously high backstop.

I left out a few.

Free, drive into the Blackhills and set up targets, shoot until ammo is gone, pack up trash and go home.

I mostly shoot at the Bass Pro Shops gun range in Springfield, MO. Membership is $75 / year. You can call a day in advance to guarantee a lane at a certain time, so not a bad deal.

Missouri has 5 manned and 30 or so unmanned Dept. Of Conservation ranges spread across the state. The manned ranges are super nice, state of the art, and cost $3 / hour. The unmanned ranges are free, but you meet some very interesting folks :uhoh:

Our city does have a rifle and pistol club with both indoor and outdoor ranges. Membership is $150 initiation fee (which I really don't agree with) + $75 / year. Also got to be recommended by 2 members and go through a discussion / voting process held during the monthly meetings. Not really my cup of tea...

Just what are these " range fees" critters you speak of ? I farm and Ranch so i just shoot on my own ground .

the only indoor i shoot at is Smith and Wessons indoor range. its 20$ range fee. per lane. so you can spend 2 minutes or 2 hours. for 20$.

they also offer memberships starting at iirc 170$ witha 5$ range fee per visit to 200+$ no range fee. discounts on ammo etc

I pay $45 for a year membership. Assuming I visit the range only three times, for a total time of three hours each, I'd pay approximately $5 an hour.

$2 for as long as the range is open. It is owned by the city. Sometimes there isn't even anybody there to take your money.
