My club is an outdoor only range, just off I-5 & facing the picturesque Cascade mountain range. We have a covered firing line with about 20 benches that encompasses the 25, 50, & 100yd ranges. There is also a 7yd pistol section with room for a couple of shooters at a time. In addition there is a seperate shotgun area with an automatic clay thrower.....no skeet, trap, or sporting clays layouts, just a basic clay shooting area, this is also covered. The only downsides are that it is only open on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday from noon to 5pm during daylight saving months, & a 4pm closing the rest of the year, & that, due to it being seven feet below sea level it tends to flood in the winter which may result in a multi-week closure. Membership is $35/year plus a $15 initiation for the first year, but that includes spouse & all children 18 years & under. Public shooters are also welcome $15/day during DST & $10 during non-DST, kids with parental supervision shoot for free, & Friday is 'Ladies Day'.
