$50 per year, up from $40 last year. Plus an extra $10 for new members or if an old member let's his dues lapse more than a month or two.

Includes use of the outdoor range. The indoor pistol range is a little extra but not much; maybe a dollar or two each time. (and it's not open all the time) I'm in the bullseye league, and the $25 semiannual fee for that covers the indoor range use, paper targets, and the small cash prizes at the end of the year.

Everybody is an NRA member, but I don't remember if that's mandatory or not.

I think the longest rifle range is 200 yards.

It's not uncommon to have to call a Cease Fire when deer wander onto the rifle range.

$10 a year...

and $3 for a round of trap.

thats all they have though, 5 trap houses. its a pretty awesome little club though with lots of friendly people and they sell reloaded shells for cheaper than walmart.

The range I belong to, $15.00 the first year and $10.00 there after. Has 3 100 yard ranges and 3 archery ranges. For the price I can't complain one bit.

$125/yr. + 2 voluntary work days.
$50/yr. Seniors (65) with 5 previous years at regular dues.
1-time fees : $100 Initiation fee + $35 digital/magnetic gate card.

No other fees unless you use the automated trap towers. Throwing your own is free.

Ranges :
Pistol : 25, 50, 75 & 100 yds (or anything closer) & shilouette.
Shotgun : trap, skeet and stationary targets for patterning/self-defense practice.
Archery : many bales at various distances, elevated stands and a great 3-D in the woods.
Rifle : Almost too many to list but the best is a 300 meter (328 yds.) electronic, state-of-the-art, computerized range. It has 17 stations and each has it's own computer and screen which shows precisely where your bullet struck. It keeps score, gives windage/elevation error per round and a running average. Each target is shown (complete with scores and rank) on a jumbo screen in a sound-proofed side room for spectators on compitition days. Oh - It's heated and air-conditioned. :neener:
We have steel gongs at 200 & 400 yds and paper target ranges at everything up to 200 yds.

$200 a year + special assessments for new construction. We just built a huge new range, bought 200 more acres, and are repairing the dam to our lake... so the special assessments are stacking up.

Facilities:
3 Pistol bays (also for Archery)
Formal pistol range, set up for pistol competition
25yd pistol and .22 rifle range
Blackpowder and smallbore silhouette range
Cowboy action range/town
Tomahawk throwing area.
100 yard rifle range
Sporting Clays range with automatic and manual traps
600 yard rifle range with hanging steel from 200-500 yards and a number of bays built into the side berms which can be used for 3-gun competition. .50 cal and full-auto allowed.

A lake full of bass and crappie, campsites with electrical hookups, shower/bathroom/kitchen facilities, and its within 30 minutes of a major city.

New 600 yard range.

In Massachusetts there are tons of Gun Clubs. The town south to me is conspiciously weird in that they apparently never had any gun club. There used to be a gun club in the town to the east. However, they were in the GAR. They had the basement of the building.

Some of the low cost options have disappeared. My club is adjacent to undeveloped land. We have to pay for the land acquisition, real estate taxes, and the club house.

I really do not think that $100 is unrealistic. I would cringe if I had to pay $5 to shoot at the rifle range on every occasion. There are some expenses to maintain these clubs.

The long lost clubs did not have much money. These clubs need to have money in the bank to fund a land acquisition when it occurs. Right now, a bank might not provide a loan at a favorable rate for land which is not going to be developed into a profit maker. If they don't keep a capital reserve for opportunities, then the opportunity shall turn into disaster.

The only thing worse is the club in the town to the north. They actually sold land to a developer.

Several towns have multiple clubs. I believe that Westport has TWO. The town of Dartmouth has two. Middleboro has two. East Bridgewater has two. However, there are differences between these clubs.
For instance one of the clubs in East Bridgewater does not have skeet fields or extensive grounds. The dues at the first club are cheaper than the dues of the 2nd club.
