I shoot at a local gravel pit, aka FREE, and often come across oodles of one type of brass or another. Since I'm picking through it liberally and often finding calibers I don't shoot, I pick up the extra because some time there is plenty. In this regard, I've scrounged .357 and some rifle brass that I don't have guns for simply so I can take home more than I brought in hopes that the sloppy ones don't get the place shut down by local law dogs. And I think a .357 may be in my future, but I prefer the 10mm, which is why I scrounge so much. Man that stuff flies..... On that note, I shoot it first, scrounge, shoot everything else from the same position and find more 10mm I missed.

Anyhow, what calibers do people want such that I can contribute to the reduce, reuse, recycle concept and get some of that brass into others hands such that it doesn't get dumped and forgotten.

How many do I gather before I offer it up on here to any takers. I'm not interested in a profit, just shipping. I live about 1 mile from the post office, maybe two, so fuel is not an issue. I just want to see what folks want so I can be more selective and give less to the recycling guy because I think reuse has more value.

Thanks for thinking about us! :)

I've given away brass on this forum before. Really makes one feel good when you see it going to someone who appreciates it and what your're doing.

Have you come across any .243 Winchester? That's one on which I'd love to make arrangements with you. And possibly .223 Remington.

I shoot and reload 10mm as well. Lotsa fun, don't you agree?

However much you want to offer, especially if your giving it away. I know SSNvet is looking for some 30-30, I sent him a few a while ago. I load 9mm and 38 Spl, but have the hardest time finding good 303 Brit and 7.62x54R reloadable in good shape.
Thank you for making such a generous offer to the board, sir!

I use .45 ACP, .308, and 7.62x39 primarily. Also have dies, but haven't loaded any 9mm.

I have a few hundred rounds of .223 mostly military all cleaned, but needs to be gone through CARFULLY, I found some of what I believe are case seperations. But it could have been me being new and over cautious.

I'll take any .40 cal you can find, as well as leftover .38 spl. I have no problems contributing to shipping costs + time and effort.

That's very thoughtful of you ... If you have any extra .357s, I'm a taker and will obviously pay the shipping and "handling." Thanks!

Tom

If you have more than 10,000 of a caliber you shoot, you should share.

Thanks for thinking of us. Many folks don't reload and leave their brass laying all over the place for others to scrounge. Mighty nice of them. :)

I’ll be happy pay the shipping+ to take .308 or .223 off anyone!

This weekend I found brand new 7mm brass, free to anyone who wants it. Send me a PM.

Be safe, BSR

((( The 7mm brass is being sent to a member )))

I would love to have some .300 WSM. I have some .40, 9mm, 7.62, and 30.06 to trade if anyone is interested.

Hi all, Jeep you have started something now, so get ready. I think this is very generous of all of you offering brass. Please don't scrap it at the recycle yard. There is a new forum just for swapping brass. The web address is:
http://ammobrasstrader.com/forums I hope that this helps some of you find the needed bright yellow shiny things that you need. Hey Nitesite send me a PM.

I'd take most calibers, what I don't use I pass along to others anyway.
Specifically, 44mag, 45 Colt, 380acp, and 30 carbine are always of interest and in short supply for me.

I have about 3/4's of a Folgers coffee can loaded with 9mm and another with .45acp that i might trade for some .38spcl or .41Mag:uhoh:

Send a PM for more info.

The USPS has a small Flat rate Box that will hold quite a bit of Brass,I'd be willing to "Trade" box's with someone....
