Horsehockey. Where in the heck are you getting this information.
Ammunition manufacturers ship literally billions of rounds to wholesalers/distributors every year.

Sure, order a pallet and the ammunition manufacturer may ship direct, or the distributor may have the pallet drop shipped.........but nothing says that "ammo has to come directly from the factory to your retail outlet".

Do the math on 9mm 124 gr fmj ammo posted above.. $12 today from cabela's. A case of 1000 price is $9.25 per box of 50 rounds from Lucky Gunner. Do you think Lucky Gunner paid $9.25 for a box of 50 rounds?

Incorret, manufacturers want to limit the number of accounts they deal with. They deal with the jobbers/wholesale distributors, not retailers
