How much is a WASR-3 from Century Arms?

I called a gun shop in my area last week to get me a price on a Century Arms WASR-3 HI CAP and because they're only open 4 days a week, they told me to call back Wednesday. So I call this past Wednesday and the guy said they were understaffed at the moment and that they would call me back later on. It's Friday today and still no phone call from the shop.

All I want is a price. Does anybody know? And if you can, how much is a WASR-2 HI CAP?

And another thing.......why do sites like Century Arms refuse to show firearm prices??? Is it so the dealer can add more money to make a profit? Isn't the transfer fee enough?

I saw one at a local shop but can't remember which one, but it was $389.99...didn't ask about hi cap though...

GB prices are too much. After transfer fees and shipping and tax.......we're talking about more than $400. I don't want to spend more than $375 total price.

That's why I want a price directly from Century Arms.

Century only sells to dealers. That's why they don't put their prices on the website. Usually, AIM Surplus sells whatever Century has. They don't carry 'em?

...the gb prices are not too high...they are right at the same as most shops are going to be...all you need to do is figure the same for your lgs +/- 10% and add tax...

...also, I mentioned that I saw one at the local shop for $389.99...

...seems like your next move it to get off the phone and drive over there yourself...

Just be sure to be VERY careful about choosing if they have more than one at this gun shop... When I bought mine I didnt know what I was supposed check in an AK, but I got the malfunction of the century from Century! WASR-2 would likely be well made compared to the WASR-3... I unno, best of luck man

The gun shop I called didn't have them in stock. They only carried 7.62 AK's but they're a dealer for Century so I knew they would be able to get a price on weapons Century sells.

Forum member 220_Swift PM'ed me saying that the prices from Century were:

WASR-3 Hi-cap .223 $329.87
WASR-2 Hi-cap 5.45X39 $329.87

Not bad.

They're retail prices are in line with century's wholesale, unless you're one of the distributors.
