I shouldn't ask this in the sell section since it is for stuff priced to sell now, so I
figure you guys would know what the going price of whole lots is.
I have loads of stuff I don't use any more or bought it with whole reloading outfits
from other people, I have consolidated my calibers & got rid of some just to make
it simpler. The 270 Wthb Mag dominated my time & efforts so I let it go as well as the
270Win, & 300 Wthb mag, & 243. All these are for good reasons so don't bash me
for them. The 270 Wthb mag could shoot a -sub-2" at 280 yards for coyotes, that's
the reason for the light 270 bullets, ya da ya da.
I took the time to look up the actual -retail- price of the individual bullets & cases
& I was surprised an unbelievable amount which I know would be ridiculous to ask
for the whole lot. So here is most of the list. I really know it would be hard to sell
it all together but maybe someone like myself a few years ago will see it.
270 wthb mag cases = new 40 & 10 bullets knocked out
300 wthby mag cases = 75 used 1 time
243 wssm cases = new 50 & 48 used
243 cases = new 70 new & 98 used 1 time
300 s.a.u.m. cases = 35 used 1X
222 Rem cases = new 100 & 75 used 1X

Bullets: there might be 2 out of a full box or some have 120 in them.
To many to actually get on here. so here is the basic.
270 win 110 grain sierra #1810 = 3 full boxes
270 win 90 grain sierra = 100+
270 100 grain speer spritzer = 100
.452" 240 grain xtp 2 boxes #45220
.358" 35cal 200 grain rn = 100+
.223 hornady xtp = 97 >> free!!
Lots of 243 in sierra 85 grain hpbt // sierra 100 gr spritzer // sierra boxes 70 gr hpbt
The small partial bullet boxes & small case lots = free. My Private Overstocked Reload Stuff.jpg

Can't help with the cost, but if you want to sell it as a complete lot, it will be worth the most to someone that uses all those calibers. Out of what you list, I would only be interested in the .452 or .223 bullets, so buying the whole lot would not really be an option for me.

About a year ago a friend gave me a bunch of pictures of a family member's reloading supplies that they were trying to sell as the actual handloader had passed. The way the whole thing was put to me was would I give them an idea of what to ask for and where to sell the stuff? What I really think they wanted was for me to make a very generous offer to purchase the whole lot.

There was like in the OP situation about a dozen calibers and 12 g shotgun. Good bullets like Nosler and Sierra but not many (less than 100 pcs) of any particular bullet. A mish mash of brass and maybe a total of 6 pounds of older packaged powder and primers. An old Pacific "C" press and a few assorted tools and die sets. There wasn't anything at all that I was interested in buying. My advice to them was to ask some of the poor handloaders friends and/or their family if any of them handload and perhaps they might be interested in the stuff and then just give it to them.

What I found interesting about the whole thing was there was no mention of any associated firearms in the estate. None of my business of course but still interesting.

For a quick sell, I would calculate up what 60% the lowest retail that is easily found is, add it all up, and sell it as one lot.

If I had the time to divide it up, I would probably look for 75% of retail.

I recently sold several partial boxes of NOS Sierra bullets, from the 80's, in calibers that are useless to me. I sold at 50% of avg retail.

I purchased some .312 Hornady and Sierra bullets, some open box, some NOS sealed boxes. I paid just under 50% of retail, which was asking price.
