So true. Needed two 10-22's to build a Gatling Gun for the wife. {true}
Went to three gunshows and found only two. Both >$200. Wallyworld had them for $164.88, but were out. After a friend found two for me the next gunshow had nothing but 10-22s. I bought a super nice walnut stocked one for $140. Derned gremlins.
