how to check an FFL dealer's reputation?

Hi all,

I am considering purchasing a gun from a dealer on Guns America, which unfortunately doesn't allow users to provide feedback on transations. How can I check the reputation of a particular FFL dealer before I decide to purchase the gun? He did send me his FFL number. Thanks!

You could check the better business bureau or the chamber of commerence in his locality. For me, I would just talk to the dealer and form your own impressions. The dealer may also list on Auction Arms or Gun Broker where there is a feedback score.

Ask around on the shooting boards.
That's the only way. Just like checking out a plumber.
If you're that uncomfortable with buying online, don't do it.
