Step 1) Lose the bllade/peephole portion of your mini-14 rancher rear sight.
Step 2) Find an 18g aluminum ring with a 1/4" inner diameter.
Step 3) Form ring into a U.
Step 4) Insert Ends of the U into the small holes where the screws used to be, flatten ends and press securely into the base of the hole (so that the U cannot fall out)
Step 5) Bend the cemi-sircle portion of the U upwards so that it works as a ghost ring sight.
Well, i may have lost my peep sight, but i gained faster target acquisition!
It'll be backup to my red dot sight i guess.
