How to remove an AR magazine baseplate?

What's the best way to remove the baseplate off of an AR magazine? I tried using a punch to stick into the hole, but the baseplate was on there real tight.

Look at the rear bottom of the mag Use a small screwdriver and pry/push up the tab on the base of the mag base plate and slide it out being cautious not to let the spring go flying into your face or across the room.
