How/Where do you pocket carry?

Right pocket holds a rusty Taurus 650, left my wallet, small Gerber folder, and a speed loader or two if I feel I might need more than five. Keys are clipped to my belt under my perpetually un-tucked shirt. Don't actually own a cellular phone so no space eaten up by one. :neener:

I usually wear an untucked shirt or a loose t-shirt with jeans, cargo pants or cargo shorts.
RP-Colt Agent revolver in a Mika holster
LP-Money clip, loose change with knife clipped to pocket
LRP-Bandanna and NAA 22 mag in a pocket holster
RRP-Wallet
A speed strip in a drop pouch and my phone on a clip are on my belt.

I wear denim jeans nearly all the time. R front, some kind of .380. R rear , SOG Flash Tanto and handkerchief. L rear, billfold. L front, change, keys, nitrotabs. Shirt, cell phone.

Kahr PM9

Most of the time I wear cargo shorts with a pm9 in my right front pocket, no problem at all and cooler weather I go to cargo pants or a Kramer confordant holster shirt.

I load up identically to the OP.
Keys - right front pocket
cell phone - left front pocket
wallet - right rear pocket
nothing - left rear pocket

So, if if need to pocket carry, then the cell phone moves to shirt pocket, and pistol in front left pocket. Otherwise, it's IWB. Very simple.

Heck i do not want to say that Florida is laid way back but you can get married and buried in a golf shirt. Sometimes both in the same day. Golf shirts are not that good for packing though.

I only pocket carry at work. S&W Model 37 in a Blackhawk Pocket Holster (Gonna change that soon, I think.) in my left front pocket. Thumb drive, Swiss Army Knife SD, change and small bills in my right front. Wallet in left rear pocket. Two Bianchi Speed Strips with .38 SPL Buffalo Bore ammo in right rear pocket. (Will fit either of my guns. My duty gun is a S&W Model 686.)

Off duty, both of my carry guns ride on my belt under my shirt.

I pocket carry 99% of the time. I can't remember the last time I didn't carry. Business casual dress most often.

FR: Ruger LCP
FL: Spare mag and money clip wallet
RR: Knife (SOF flash II)
RL: Empty; keys on occasion when not sitting.

When not pocket carrying I do carry strong side iwb. I usually regret that after a couple of hours and wish I had carried my normal loadout.

Pocket carry

I carry either a 640-3 or a 642 in my right front pocket in a Mika pocket holster. Left front pocket carries 2 speedloaders and pocket has my phone. Left rear pocket has my badge/ID case. Right rear has my wallet and a clip in place knife. The choice of the all-steel 640-3 or the airweight 642 depends on how much weight I want to deal with.

When I pocket carry I usually carry a S&W Model 49 in a Bianchi pocket holster in my right front pocket. I also will sometimes carry it in an outside jacket pocket in the winter. If I carry two guns, the pocket carry back-up gun goes in my left side front pocket with the primary carried in a IWB holster on the strong side.

If you missed it, here's a recent article I wrote on pocket carry tips.

Five tips for CCW pocket carry

i don't wear shirts with pockets, and would hate to carry anything in my shirt...

does your knife have a clip?

carabiner is a good idea for keys. i choose not to b/c i don't like danglies.

FR: ruger LCP
FL: clipped knife, cell phone, sometimes keys
RR: wallet
LR: keys or empty

of course, i have about 4 keys on my keychain and my cell phone is not the size of a stinkin ipad. works great for me.

My 2 pocket carries are p32 and 380 bodyguard I carry right rear pocket where my wallet would usualy be. My thinking is that most situation I would encouter would be muggings for money. Buy a good pocket holster the cheap ones tend to move around.

Generally, the pocketed SP101 snubby rides in a Kramer pocket holster in one front pocket, while a sturdy folder rides in the opposite front pocket. I don't use a traditional wallet, my ultra-slim substutes for wallets ride un unconventional locations, and my back pockets are kept clear. I do have smaller options for smaller pockets: S&W J-snub, and Seecamp LWS-32.

Not all pants with cargo pockets look like BDU pants; some look much nicer, with subtle cargo pockets.

I just switched mobile phones, and have not yet settled upon a consistent carry method for my rather bulky Casio Brigade.

FWIW, my pocketed snubby is one of two handguns. My daily "primary" carry location is on the belt. I wear my duty pistol at 0300, and try to be consistent with that carry position when off the clock.
