Hi,

Cabela's currently offer a Pedersoli Howdah Hunter Shoulder Stock with reduced price (USD 150 vs USD 250). I have decided I need it:), notwithstanding the reviews are not quite positive... I just need it:)

Therefore I have decided to purchase it, however they declined to sell this item overseas (to European Union) as it falls under their internal restrictions relating to international sale of firearms parts. This seems to be rather stupid to me as this shoulder stock is actually nothing more than a piece of wood, not a firearms part by any means, but...

The question is:
a) would anyone be willing to purchase this item (together with Howdah holster which I would also like to buy from them) for me and forward it to me via UPS? I would pay the price incl. of course any other expenses via paypal immediately. Until 22 Jan Cabela's offer free delivery within US, so this part of the deal would be no problem, or

b) would anyone suggest a website where I could buy these items for similar prices (after the discount)? No problem for me if they are used items, provided the price is fair... The obvious and usual Ebay does not seem to be a good way to go. As I am not an American, I am rather confused as to where find such deals.. I know the basic e-shops (cabela's, dixie.. etc.), but that is just it and google search for sale of used items like this seems to return no relevant results... or

c) would anyone directly sell the used howdah hunter stock for a fair price?

Thank you all for any useful input.

Regards,

Z.

Anything on the US Munitions list is covered by ITAR:

http://www.pmddtc.state.gov/regulations_laws/documents/consolidated_itar/Part_121.pdf

And it very specifically says:

This coverage by the U.S. Munitions List in paragraphs (a) through (i) of this category excludes any non-combat shotgun with a barrel length of 18 inches or longer, BB, pellet, and muzzle loading (black powder) firearms.

So, Cabelas is full of crap. They probably won't change their policy, but they are wrong.

Thank you for your support. I was kind of sure that this restriction is nonsense, however this is their internal policy and so there is nothing I could do about it... Sad, but true.

I wish I lived in the US...

Regards,

Z.
