Hungarian AMD build.

Ok, so I THINK I've finally figured out everything I need to do to build an AK pistol. My question is concerning parts kits. Can Hungarian AMD parts kits take standard AK upper and lower handguards or do I have to use the ones that come with the gun. Also, are there aftermarket handguards for them that are cheap?

I can tell you the upper AMD gas tube is shorter than the standard. I have both. I'm not sure about the lower, and aftermarket parts for the AMD.
