I'm not much of an AK guy, but I have a bunch of 7.62x39 and no rifle with which to shoot it. Got a couple bonuses coming up and saw PSA has Hungarian AMD-63 rifles for sale, both around $500. Sadly I missed out on the era of $300 or less AK variants. This one looks to be about the least expensive one on the market.
So... I could go for another SKS, or build a 7.62x39 AR upper (I've been considering a .300 or 6.5 Grandel already), but kinda have an itch for an AK.
The front vertical grip is pretty goofy looking, and I'd go with the fixed stock over the folding wire stock, if I go this route at all.
Will these take most standard AK accessories and parts?
