Hunting Bucket List

I’ve taken small whitetail bucks with traditional archery equipment, cow elk with an ‘06, doe antelope with the same old boring ‘06, and mule deer bucks (and does) with stick and string as well as with the ‘06.

I feel blessed and connected with the land with every meal provided by a big game kill. I guess my bucket list for hunting is to keep fit for as long as possible to keep chasing meat in the fairly rough public lands I call home.

The real trophy room is the chest freezer and the sacrament is in the eating.
