Hybrid holster for Range Officer Compact

Is anyone currently using an AlienGear "generic" 4" 1911 IWB holster to carry their RO Compact? They don't list a specific shell for this gun but I'm thinking that their shell for a 4" 1911 should be fine. I'm currently using one for my Sig P938 and I love it so I'd just like to swap out the shell if at all possible.

If anybody has a suggestion for a good decently priced hybrid other than AlienGear please let me know. Thanks.

Yes, I am currently using the AG holster for my RO compact. I also carry a Sig SS compact 1911, and the Ruger lightweight. Like many, I'm guessing that I have far too many holsters, trying to get the most comfortable, etc; what I really like about AG is the ability to fine tune the retention to suit each gun's features, and the fact that you can swap holster shells if you need. I have four of their products, and if they are durable, I may well up that number to suit my carry rota.

Stonge1812, am I correct in assuming that youre using the AG shell for the 4" 1911 since they don't offer one specific to the RO compact?

The Range Officer Compact is a 4" 1911. It just has a shorter "Officer" size grip.
