The hardest , most exhausting shotgun drill I have ever done is Scott Reitz's "180". You have 6 poppers fanned out 180 degrees about on a 15 yards from shooter radius. You have 3 resetters behind the shooter with 2 ropes each that reset the downed targets. Scott stands behind the shooter and motions silently to the resetters behind him which targets go up.There is no pattern for this and sometimes you have to scan for a minute-you better be reloading! When the shooter engages a right target a left one goes up out of his vision. He starts reloading and they all go up. One pops up straight ahead (the closest) at the most inopurtune moment, all the while Scott is harrassing you in his most special SWAT manner in front of the class. You MUST use all the techniques you have been learning in the prior days. He shoots you dry no matter what you are holding! I was holding 88 shots once and was exhausted and panting after the drill! He also does this at night!:uhoh:
