I initially put in a minimal bid amount on a fairly well-worn model 36 that had 12+ days to go on the auction and since forgot all about it. Then last night I received a GB email that I was outbid by $5.00. I upped the bid by $5.00 triggering that darn 15 minute rule and went on to other things expecting the other bidder to bump it again. Ten+ minutes later a got a GB email that I won it.
So, now in a few days I’ll have another model 36 (to go with the 5 I already have) that I need like a hole in the head. Oh well, after 3 or 4 years of always being out bid, I finally get out of that “Not rated” category.
The part that made me laugh is that the seller is in Massachusetts, but has in his listing that he doesn’t sell to Massachusetts residents.
