I almost killed a feral cat

I could be wrong but I'm told that meat eating animal "droppings" isn't very good fertilizer.

Growing up our neighbor was a cat lady, feeding any stray that would come by. The damn strays would howl all night, crap everywhere and a few times the damn things would crawl into the engine compartment of my trucks ( you haven't lived untill you hear the sound of a cat in the fan clutch on a cold winter morning):what: We started trapping the cats (with the neighbors permission) and after the first few deliveries to the animal shelter they wanted to charge us to take the cats in.

I've owned a few cats in my life and though I don't consider myself a cat person I don't dislike them either, but I wasn't gonna spend $25 every time I trapped a stray. That said I started to take the stray's out to dispose of them outside of city limits. A .22LR is much cheaper than the animal shelter charge.

Do what you need to do, just keep it as safe and quick as possible. I don't want to here any news stories about some weirdo shooting cats for fun.

Rarely do folks get enough of it to use. It isn't great for use with crops because of several types of contamination/parasites, but it can work as fertilizer. Is it very good? Not so much as is, but it will compost down or be converted by worms just fine.
