I am going CRAZY

How is he "going to go down with you"? You say you don't have the money for a storage unit so how can you possibly afford legal counsel beyond the free/crap public defender? Jes sayin'... Be prepared for a confiscation. It is of my belief that the police/legal system are generally NOT our friends. You're experiencing this very thing right now with your FUBAR ticket blunder. Do NOT trust your PO. He is NOT your friend no matter what he says. Do you really think he's going to side with you if/when push comes to shove over getting his arse in a sling and being reprimanded or potentially losing his job? Especially if you get an unfavorable ruling from a judge which you want to seek? Can you prove/do you have it on record what he "told you" 48 hrs ago that you could keep them? Were you in a video taped confession room and have copies of the tape? Don't think so... Tread very carefully...

Well, good luck and please keep us truthfully updated. If they take your guns, we want to know about it, seriously. Get some sleep and have a level, calm and cool head tomorrow.

I was going 82 mph in a 50, and that warrants a reckless driving charge due to being 20mph over posted speed limit. I got a 400$ fine, 1 year probation, and 6 months of restricted license.

 Judge must have been pretty pissed at you. I got busted for 93 in a 55 in PA and ended up getting two days community service and no points.

I PM'd you but I will share this as well. I had a buddy busted in PA for a violent misdemenor (who lived in MD). His P.O. never once visited him to search his house, so after taking 35 guns to a relative's house, and waiting it out 8 months... he realized it was all done for nothing. :uhoh:

P.O.s generally deal with and put the most pressure on those under them that have an attitude, are late, or cause a problem. If you are an angel, he'll most likely forget about you and you'll coast through this (firearms in house or not).

thats a typical condition of probation in va. and ussually when you move you take the conditions with you albeit supervised by a different state

heres an update: Ive brought the guns home for now and the PO is all cool. My plan is that if he stays out of my place for the next few months, I will bring them back up and keep them on the dl. Unfortunate circumstances, but i will have to deal..
