Gosh, you can use a C&R for an FEG PA63? Bought one a couple of weeks ago and it was brand new-- does it qualify as a curio somehow?

A.

ah dude don't sweat it,get yourself a Mosin or .22 if need a fix.Hey ,I love guns and guitars which neither hobbies are cheap if you go for the good stuff, and alot of stuff.I recently bought 2 Lespaul customs and a Takamine 12 string.I'll tell you the Takamine cost $700 beans, the LP's...well put it this way I could have gotten a Barrett M82 and ammo for what I dropped on those LP's.....and I still keep thinking about which gun next...and the next guitar.Someone told me today,"you can only play one at a time"...my reply "but but....I use them all eventually".It's a good thing I only have 2 hobbies.

For those of you that have bought from the many different places such as AIM, SOG, Classic, etc, where have you been happiest and why? Prices are very close on many of the things that I am looking at so I am wondering if any one place has nicer quality, better customer service, etc. I will be ordering some very soon. I have to wait until a couple places get my FFL (ones that don't accept faxed copies) and then I will decide what and where I buy.

eventually, captian54, you will do what many of us do.

buy from everywhere, hope for the best, and then put on gunbroker all the crappy ones you dont want.

I obtained my FFL-03 18 months ago and have since bought 2 dozen firearms.
I have very little will power and a lot of desire!Everything from Lee Enfields to CZ-82'S.A very large Winchester safe protects them.(See Sam's Club)
And I've never been happier. This is the greatest hobby you can have next to perhaps reading great books.
I've bought from all the big Mil-Surp outlets and overall for my money Southern Ohio Gun(SOG)is the champ.Quality firearms, good prices and great customer service.
Ask for Trish, who is second to none in making you happy and getting the best deal and firearm.
Even after you've maxed out your cards and are broke ,you'll still have a smile on your face.

I think a poorly translated Japanese Nintendo video game said it best,

All your base are belong to us.
You have no chance to survive make your time.

:)

When I got my C&R about 7 years ago, my collection got up close to 50 firearms. It's a lot of fun purchasing unique pieces of history, inspecting them and learning about the tools from previous generations. I am back down to a more manageable 20 firearms or so now, which are almost all very dear collectors pieces which I could never let go of.
