The other day I felt like buying a new handgun so I went to my local gun shop to browse. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I picked looked for something under $400. I came up with two options, a Ruger LCP or a used but in very good condition Beretta 92fs. I decided to go with the Ruger but after bringing it home I had a change of heart, I decided that the Beretta was the gun I really wanted and the fact that the price was $350 seemed too good to pass up. So the next morning I went back to the gun shop and they were nice enough to let me exchange the LCP for the Beretta.

I'm very happy with my decision to go with the Beretta, it's got some holster wear and a few tiny nicks in the finish but the bore is mint and overall it's in great working condition. I figure for $350 it's not got to in new condition but as long as it works that's what matters. I had a Beretta 92f years ago and I sold it for some stupid reason, so a new 92 has been on my list of guns buy again for a long time.

Anyway as always here are some pics....

nice pick up... i've had my eye on the 92fs for a long time... can't decide what finish i want though.

Very nice pistol sir, very nice. I use one as my truck gun. I've even had great luck with MecGar's 20rd semi-flush fit magazine. Mines been ultra reliable too. As a side note, you got a smoking deal too. The shop where I work part time sells used 92's for 579.00. I cant believe he does it. Anyway, great find. Enjoy it. Kevin.

Very good deal seems like a lot of people don't like the 92 but when they took mine away and gave me a sig I missed it so much that had to get my own, well the wife got it for me. It just such a good H.D. and range gun.

be safe

Very nice.

I love my 92FS. I even carry mine everyday as my concealed carry.

Also, you can change the hammer spring to a "D" spring (the DOA spring) and it will lighten bother the DA and SA pull just a little bit. It does make a difference.

The Beretta 92FS though a little heavy for the cartridge its chambered in is an excellent handgun and one of my favorite pistols to have fun at the range with. I tend to screw up the first DA shot but once it goes into SA I make one big ragged hole in my targets. The 92FS is also a perfect combination of form and function, I love it! :)

That's beautiful! I have nostalgia from my dad's old 92F. I want to buy one someday. Good buy!
