I broke my Standard Mfg SAA!

Rectangular dollars, Driftwood. ;)
I've got some money in guns, but nothing compared to your impressive collection.
What's a Colt SAA going for these days? $2500? I can afford that, but I'd rather not. I feel no guilt in handling and shooting Italian copies; prefer them to the indestructible Ruger versions.
Do prefer replica guns to work like the originals.

Single Action Army prices are all over the place these days. I actually only paid $680 for my favorite one about 20 years ago, but that was because somebody tried to antique it, and not all the parts were original.

Others have cost me a bit more.

I do actually have one Uberti Cattleman that I bought used probably about 20 years ago or so. I have no idea what I paid for it back then. As I recall, it does have the coil spring arrangement for the hand. I seem to recall it had the stupid two position cylinder pin when I bought it, but I replaced that with a regular style pin.

I replaced the leaf spring split trigger/bolt spring with a wire one a bunch of years ago.

I had another Uberti Cattleman before that, but it had problems so I sold it. I seem to recall I used the money towards a Ruger Vaquero.
