I am not the greatest shot. My grandfather could regularly shoot a group half the size of mine. That said, I would LOVE to see you take the top off a bottle at 300Y with a .22lr. My anschutz isn't even that accurate (well it is very accurate but not that accurate at that distance). We are talking .3 MOA side to side and .15 moa verticallyor better with a round that was either never supersonic or has crossed the super/subsonic barrier. Even the best shooters I have seen are keeping it at .75 inches at 100y at an outdoor range (and not consistently). I bet you could get .5 inches from a rest from those guys. The .22lr is also very lightweight and is easily moved by any wind.
Might I ask what make/model you are shooting and what ammo type?
