Basically I got busted back in high school for carrying to a football game. I lost my right to carry. Last night I really needed a gun due to unfriendly activities in my area. I cant even as much be seen holding a weapon.

What should I do?

1. Make a zip gun

2. Build a gun off e-gunparts after doing some home work

3. Buy a gun from the local "market" without SN but with some ammo

4. Hide at the range and wait till shooters go down to get targets. Then take a pistol and some clips.

This might sound bad but what would you do? I have no friends to buy for me.

5. Don't post a request to help you illegally acquire a gun on a public forum.

In all honesty, I'd start by going to a magistrate to try and get your record from high school expunged. Then you can acquire a pistol legally.

1) point your browser to 'non-firearm weapons' for ideas that aren't blatantly illegal,

2) lose the habit of openly discussing breaking the law.

3) avoid situations where you might have to hurt someone.. following step 3 years ago could perhaps have kept you out of this situation?

look into the legality of owning black powder weapons where you live.

In general, I believe that those who are "prohibited persons" can still own black powder firearms (because they are not "firearms" under the federal legal definition).

However, triple check the state laws to make sure the state doesn't include Black Powder as a "firearm".

Then get yourself one of those black powder revolvers.

i've heard ( meaning i don't know anything for a fact) that it's possible after a few years of being a law-abiding,tax paying productive member of society, to have ones right to own firearms re-established, at least for long guns if not pistols. i'm curious, and thought that's where this thread was going. does anyone have any info on this possible option for the OP ?

Move, all of your suggestions are either illegal or just plan bad. I don't think you will find much support here.

News Flash: BATFE sinks to new entrapment lows!

Dateline: THR, November 01 2007

Having run out of ways to entrap legal gun owners, and having been chastised by Congress for harassing FFL dealers for paperwork errors, the BATFE has sunk to a new low by having agents create user accounts on THR then asking for blatantly legal advice in order to entrap users into charges of conspiracy to violate federal law. THR members were quoted as saying, "go away".
