Hmmmmm...... Hold it, hold it, hold it...

Post # 8 by 2TransAms:

As posted,it's her house and her rules. If I knew you shot a 9mm through the wall,I wouldn't let you have one in my house either.

Rossshady 120, did you report you had a negligent discharge, which 2TransAms noted, and you edited your post to take it out?

That would 'splain a lot.

230RN, Rossshady didn't edit his post. I think 2TransAms was referring to a different thread (post #33):

Rossshady120,

If you want a gun for self defense purposes, I don't think the public storage idea makes very much sense. If it is more for recreational use, then that might be good enough. But it will probably be more than you want to pay. It sounds like you don't have a gun yet, is that right?

Maybe you could go buy a couple hundred rounds of .32 bullets and ask your aunt if she will take you shooting with her, your treat. Give her a chance to gain some confidence in your ability to safely handle a gun. You might even ask her to teach you a thing or two. See where things go from there.

But don't fight her on it. If you complain, or dare I say whine to her about it, you'll likely only succeed in reinforcing her decision to not allow you to have a gun in her house.

as far as using a long rifle for home protection. to make a long story short i put a 9mm FMJ threw my wall when i was a kid went rite threw the dry wall and hit the firewall that divides the townhouses good thing no one heard the shot or got hurt a 9mm in a closed room isnt that bad i guess i was in shock

There might be a more than one reason she doesn't want "You" to have a gun in her house. You might have to earn her trust back by showing you are responsible enough to own the weapon.

There are many people I would not to have a gun in my Hacienda.

Can I Carry A Knife???

i am 17 turning 18 in nov. i am a avid gun shooter etc. all that good stuff. can i carry a folding knife with me on my college campus or just around town without getting in trouble? im am waiting...

Hate to say it Rossshady120, but after reading some of your other posts I can understand why your aunt doesn't want you to have a gun in her house.
Thank her for trying to keep your butt out of trouble and follow her rules, she obviously is a very smart woman.

What do you do?

You obey your Aunt!

When you grow up and pay your own way you can have what ever toy you want.

Your writing skills are abysmal, are you even old enough to legally own a firearm?

Your extremely deficient & crude communication leads me to think you are trolling.

Okay, now I see exactly why she doesn't want you to have a gun in her house. I doubt it has anything to do with being pro or anti second amendment, she obviously doesn't trust you with one. If you had a ND like was posted above, I doubt I'd let you either...sorry, you'll have to earn her trust or move out on your own...

i do pay 50 a week pretty much in like rent/savings and i am forced to live in NY if i had it my way i would be back in the motherland FL

Who or what forces you to live in NY?

Mike

???????

your 17.wake up!you know why she dosn't want you to have a gun.
she believes in the second admendment but is not stupid.all the posters finaly saw your problem.
there is a gun safe for $99 dollars that will hold a few long guns.
most of us pay $500/600 or more a month rent.some pay 100/200 for food a lone.
having a gun in NY can get you in real trouble.unless you live in rural NY.
