Honestly, I LOVE the sub2000 but mine has yet to shoot off one magazine error free. It's my fault I haven't sent it for repair but, what gives? I have tried feeding it high end rounds and it still happens..failure to feeds....
 
I'm on my third P-11. I waffled about it for several years before deciding that one deserves a permanent home in my arsenal. I dislike the long trigger pull but a 10+1 package of 9x19mm even during the hottest summer days is a lot to like. I'm curious to know if the new flush-fit 12-round magazines rattle as much as the ten-rounders. If not, I will have to pick one up.

Each P-11 that I've had feeds both FMJ and Gold-Dot 124-grain JHP just fine, so I'm happy.
 
I don't own any, but I'd definately like to try shooting a Sub 2000. My buddy has a P11 and the trigger is...well...interesting. But it is what it is, it's a gun you throw in your waste band and take everywhere with you, I'm sure if the time ever came you needed it a few extra pounds of trigger pull wouldn't be a big deal.

I <3 my Glock 26 though :)
 
I recently got a P3AT and like it a lot. More accurate than a gun that small has a right to be and lighter too.
 
There are worse vices. I doubt you will be asked to stand up and admit to your KT addiction on this forum.
 
I have to admit I like my P11. After the fluff and buff I did when it was NIB, it has run great. It's a great Summer gun here in Texas. I added the trigger shoe and belt clip. The trigger is long and mean, but I doubt I will notice it in a time of need. It's better than a sharp stick!!!
 
I like the Kel Tecs for what they are. Inexpensive, small, light weight guns that do a decent job and are backed by a lifetime warranty.
I've got six of them, seven if you count the P-11 40 S&W conversion.
A couple are the .223 PLR. Now that's a interesting and fun gun to shoot.:)
 
I'm a fan, had a hankering for a P3AT during a local "shortage." Looked and looked, finally went thru Gunbroker. Worth every ounce of effort! :D
 
Don't know if I'd call myself a fan but my two KTs are more than any other brand I own and I don't plan on dumping either. The P11 is in the drawer by the bed because it's simple, reliable, and strong enough. The trigger is such that you really have to want to shoot it to make it happen but that seems right for a bedroom pistol that my wife might need to use with her limited experience and interest. She knows how to make it work and I shoot it well enough for an encounter in a small room.

I have mixed feelings about the 3AT that's always with me. It has a nice smooth trigger because I tried several at a show and found one to be much nicer than the rest and it's been reliable through a few hundred rounds. I shoot my CZ PCR and Makarov more accurately but the PCR spends more time in the lockbox in the car than on my hip and the Mak is usually in the safe. In a close encounter of the worst kind the little KT with DPX in my pocket will probably be my best bet and I feel it beats the heck out of nothing.

I'd like to try one of the KT rifles but opted to build myself an AR while I can recently. Maybe someday. I know there are better firearms out there but the idea of an American shop cranking out inexpensive, reasonably reliable weapons and standing behind them is a good thing.
 
My P11, both P3ATs and sub2k all run fine. I need to come up with some lame excuse to send them in for some special KT care.;)
 
I finally bought one and now I am a big fan of the 3AT. It shoots surprisingly tight at short distance (5-7 yards), and to repeat a previous post, a nice compact .380 in my boot beats any of the larger guns that consistently get left at the house.

I dont have any yet.................but I will be getting a PLR-16 and a sub-2000 with the glock grips hopefully before summer is over.

Which version (that is, which magazines does it take) do you have?

I'm waiting for the one I just bought from another member here no THR to arrive at my FFL :) (And then for the first chance I anticipate being able to shoot it, several weeks later, too bad but Hey.)

(Mine has the S&W 59 magwell)

Srigs: You mean "all you have is four" -- there are lots of Kel-Tecs you haven't pictured or counted ;)

What's your favorite to shoot of those? The .380 is pretty amazingly small -- if I had infinite shelf space and ammo money I'd like to get one of those.

Which do you prefer of the PF-9 and the P11?

Thing about Kel-Tecs ... with the exception of the Sub-9 (expensive, not that many made), you could buy every single one of their models for less than some people pay for their racegun 1911s :)

So, if you want to be a completist (at least in the context of one company), collecting Kel-Tecs seems like the way to go ;) (Plus, that gives you an excuse once the bullpup .308 is really available ... )
 
My P-11 worked just fine out of
the box with no fluff/buff.
1,400 rounds with no failures of
any kind,for what i paid i'am
pretty impressed with it.
