I hardly know where to begin to comment on this.

Ruger and S&W were asleep when "activists" started acting up as shareholders. I think they are going to have continuous trouble going forward. They ain't "big tobacco" moneywise. Joe

I own stock in several non-politically correct corporations and there is always a sham nun group that is trying to agitate in favor of collectivist goals. The Board of Directors must not be paying attention if they were bushwhacked by them.

I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the concept that these folks are demanding that gun manufacturers make their products "safer" or that their products should "reduce this violence."

"The proposal calls on American Outdoor Brands, Smith & Wesson's parent company, to put together a report on whether the gun maker is adequately addressing the risks that its products are associated with gun violence and to show evidence it is exploring ways to make safer guns and products to reduce this violence."

Uh, say what? "Safer guns?" "... products to reduce this violence?" What planet do these folks actually live on?

On a side note, if the companies are actually taking this crap seriously, we (gun folks and the entire RKBA movement) are seriously doomed.

I think these companies are minor shareholders. Just trying to influence other shareholders

It will never go anywhere
