I hate it when this happens!

well i went to the range today, with a plan of a fun filled, lead firng down range day. well i had the xd, ruger .22 and the ar. So i shoot about 40rds in the ar at 100 yds, prone, prone with bi-pod, standing, etc. Well i go to reload my mags and i didn't bring the bandlier of ammo, 40 was all i had :banghead: . damn it i hate it when that happens. but other than that, it was a great range day with lots of cqb drills with the xd. Every rd landed were wanted even though i was so pissed about leaving my ammo. and alot of fun just plinking with the ruger. oh well i guess there is always next weekend huh?

Some of those 'duh' moments.....

One of my shooting buddies came to a match one evening with literally everything BUT the pistol he planned to use. He was much embarrassed.

I've come to the range twice without the mags to my Ruger Mark II .22LR... But that was an easy fix--the range always has a couple I can borrow. But, jeez, I hate to ask. So embarrassing.

I was all set to blast away with my S&W PPC9 (9mm) one fine day and managed to bring only .45ACP ammo. Well, hell... it was in the same kind of box, wasn't it?? Damn. What a waste of range fees.

Once went to a range, forgot all my mags--they were sitting in the other "storage box" back home....... . Now, I managed to make room for the mags in the same case as said rifle.

I've had the exact opposite happen: I went to the range with plenty of .45 but left the pistols at the house. I think I have the precursor disease to Alzheimer's, CRS (Can't Remember Squat).
