Paid $200?
The pictures look more like $1000.

tallpaul,
Oh and a broke down picture would be nice. I'd have to make a sheath for the two halves even if it was just the legs of some old blue jeans stitched up. You know just so I could pull it out in two pieces and assemble it in front of folks at the range. "Where does he get his toys?"

I know where I can get a Savage 30/30... but I have TWO Marlin Texan 30/30s already!!! And a Winchester pre-64 .32 Winchester Special.
But I'd love to get one.

wish my eyes were that good! This 30-30 is a little older, around 1903 by the serial number. I have a cast bullet load that shoots great out of it and it is a lot of fun at the range. Good luck with yours.
Naw I know it started with 35. Maybe it was 35 Remington. I just know I got it as a gift. I was sad I couldn't find ammo for it. Eventually I sold it to pay a bill. It was a pretty rifle hate I never got to shoot it.You sure it wasn't a 358 Win. I don't think 30-06 length cartridges will fit in a M99.. They will in a Browning BLR.
+1 on what he said...tallpaul
That rifle for $200... that's the Deal of the Century! Cleaned up very nicely for a 90 year old hunting rifle! Now on to the range and more pics!
nice! congrates.wish my eyes were that good!
