I have a Mauser I found in a gun shop.

I have here a G 33/40 Mauser and it is from WW2. It has all the eagle proofs on it. What is so special about this. It is alot shorter than most K98's.

It just means it doesn't have as much collector value. Lots of them are a mish mash of parts assembled by militaries who probably didn't worry about collector value when they disassembled/repaired them etc.
