It is a German Puma made in Solingen probably prior to 1964. I don't think it has ever even cut a piece of string.

I am sure it is real stag handle. The blade says Puma Solingen Made In Germany, Handarbeit Bestell-3596.

The other side says Echter Pumaster-Stahl

Any help with history and value would be greatly appreciated.

Pumasters of that era are carbon steel. Handarbeit means hand made.
New in box with all papers could bring $200 if it actually is carbon instead of stainless.

Keep in mind the value can be ruined with a single spot of rust, so wipe it down with oil and keep it out of humidity.
