I recently acquired a Hk USP .45 Compact, and it is a variant 1. DA/SA, safe/decocker with a bobbed hammer. While I don't mind a bobbed hammer on the LEM versions, I decided I would rather have a traditional spurred hammer on this one.

I found a new factory Hk spurred hammer, with the rubberized spur on CDNN's website for $9.99, so I purchased it. It is for pre 2006 USP pistols. Mine has a date code of KI-1998.

Installation took about 15 minutes to complete, and wasn't too difficult at all. I like the new look of it, and the ability to manually cock the hammer.

I'm sure there is a Hk engineer somewhere having a fit, because somebody altered their perfect design lol :D:D

I thought about this as well as I love the look of this spurred hammer, but I appendix carry a lot and this might be a little less comfortable
