I don’t routinely buy Saturday Night Specials but since any gun is better than no gun when you need one, this little Double Action RG-14 Snubbie in 22LR followed me home many years ago. The front sight on the 1 3/4” barrel was so low I couldn’t hit paper even at short range. I mixed up some J-B Weld, let it harden a little before dabbing it on and then let the pistol hang Upside Down overnight. The weld formed a near perfect shape from simple gravity. So far it has held up after test firing. While at it, I pulled the steel Cylinder and Rod then lightly sprayed the shopworn pot metal parts with the product shown. I know it will wear off but it’s dressed up for now. Plus it shoots point of aim for the first time ever!
