I feel a little embarrassed.
I've had a PSA PA-10 Gen 2 Magpul lower for a little over a year and have been putting off buying an upper for it ever since. More of a range toy than an actual need, but I would have a use for it as a SHTF all-around rifle.
PSA has the Gen 3 18" uppers for $479 and occasionally lists them on sale for $449. When the word of the virus got out a month ago, I was thinking I should buy one and was waiting for them to go on sale to pick one up.
They didn't. With all of the panic-buying going on and no signs of it slowing until at least the election, and WA governor talking about banning the sale of ALL AR components and parts, I decided to just order it.
Went to the PSA website and they raised the price to $499 overnight and now charge shipping. So something I could have bought a couple of months ago $450 to my door just cost me $100 more.
But I will have a complete AR-10 in a couple of weeks and a new toy to play with.
Still, I feel a little dirty for giving in to concerns over how things are rapidly changing in our country.
